The Maranello Rosso Brand was born before Enzo Ferrari's death for the will of
the friend and pilot Fabrizio Violati with a synchronism of which only fate is
capable, in an ideal relay towards the future, towards the most important victory
.... the one yet to achieve.

Maranello Rosso born at the foot of the Titano mountain in the ancient Republic
of San Marino in the middle of the '80s, as the first Ferrari Museum entirely
dedicated to the history, the achievements and the Myth. The mother of Enzo,
Adalgisa was from this area of Italy and the project was in line with the GP. Of
San Marino in Imola.
Maranello Rosso is the metaphor of a dream and Red is the color of
success.The origin of the Brand finds its best definition in the own words of Enzo
Ferrari, when he clarifies that at Maranello he gave his name to an automobile
known through out the World, different from an automobile industry where
sometimes quantity is more important than quality.
The Brand representing MR in particular has in focal center the M where we find
stylized the three lateral air vents symbol of the most important car in the
Cavallino Rampante universe and probably the masterpiece that Ferrari
dreamed about when he first began his activity, the 1962 - 250 GTO. The first
Ferrari car purchased by Fabrizio Violati.
Violati in fact is the longest keeper of a GTO, the chassis #3851 won the
European Championship in 1985 with Fabrizio Violati, the last official race of a
GTO car listed in the FIA championship. Sergio Scaglietti said to Fabrizio : don't
ever sell this car, you have no idea of what you have purchased.... (it is) it is my
best work”
The first time Violati fell in love with a 12 cylinder Ferrari was in 1947 at the Terme
di Caracalla race ... Ferrari's second race and the first victory.
Maranello Rosso today joins two different Museums.
In addition to the Ferrari Museum deep into the racing world, the largest museum
dedicated to the Scorpio. Inside the Abarth Museum, officially certified by FIAT
