Maranello, 29th August 2022

The “10,000 Tours” event is part of the ‘Series by Peter Auto’, events bringing together race cars from 1950’s to the early 2000’s. Organized by Peter Auto since 2010, it is being held on the famous Circuit Paul Ricard, near Toulon in the South of France.

Eventually, last year’s (2021) edition had to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Finally returning this year, it took place on the last weekend of August, bringing together more than 330 historic race cars in nine different categories. More than 15,000 visitors could enjoy exciting races during a sunny weekend.

After the pandemic had disrupted the event for two years, the Sport & Collection team managed to come back to the original format this year, with four days of action on the first week-end of June. This year, a public of more than 30,000 spectators enjoyed the exceptional gathering of cars, from all eras and builders. While a majority of Ferrari may have been present, a significant number of Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Maserati, Porsche, Alpine, Mc Laren and even Bugatti joined the good cause and were being exhibited on the paddock, or racing!

With €400,000 having been raised, 1,050 racing, sport and prestige cars attending, including more than 400 Ferrari, and around 1,000 owners and pilots (Jean-Claude Andruet and Jean Ragnotti being guest stars), this year was an exceptional one, both from the perspective of the quantity of cars, as well as  the quality!
The next edition of Sport & Collection is scheduled for June 2-4, 2023.
