Although 20% more cars crossed the block at the five Monterey
auctions, the total revenue of $415 Mio (incl. $15 Mio
post-auction) was down 12% from the previous record year.

While Mecum presented half of all the automobiles offered, RM
Sotheby’s handsomely topped the charts in revenue.

Top 30 Lots
Gooding & Co and RM Sotheby’s were equally dominating the
thirty highest-selling lots, but Bonhams pushed itself to the
absolute top with just one exceptional sale, a $30 Mio 1967
Ferrari 412P Berlinetta.
In fact, Ferrari once again was the marque to beat, making up
2/3rds of the top thirty sales:
