Championship, driven by Ian Flux and Ian
Hetherington. Built to full F40 LM specifications. In
England.
Technical Specifications
There were only 7 F40 GTs built. All were built by Michelotto in 1993 and
described as F40 CSAI-GT cars. All featured 590 hp, Brembo brakes, lighter
carbon fiber bodies [1050 kg], a racing uni-ball suCSAI-GT ension, quick fill fuel
system, flat fours with cooling ducts for the engine, rear brakes and
transmission, a fire system; plexi glass sliding windows; wider CSAI-GT speedline
wheels; ride height dropped 5 cm, etc.
Converted into an F40 LM GTE by Hamann Motorsport
with 640 hp. Raced twice in the BPR series, June 30,
1996 at the Nurburgring, but DNFed, and later raced
September 22, 1996 at Francorchamps, finishing 26th
O.A. Now in Germany
