The Ferrari Leggenda e Passione Auction reflected the success story of Ferrari, no other manufacturer has produced such a variety of models well excepted by the rich and famous and the fastest. Ferraris were always the top products of their time, stylish, innovative, ultra fast and beautiful. Most other manufacturers produced "one hit wonders", Mercedes the 300 SL, BMW the 507 Roadster, Lamborghini the Miura, Porsche the 550 Spyder, Aston Martin the DB3S, okay okay ... may be a couple more, let's not forget that Alfa Romeo and Bugatti had created many stunning models but this was in a different period of time. Ferrari is a on going success story start with the 166 MM Touring Barchetta, the 340 America Vignale Berlinetta, the 250 MM PF Berlinetta, let's skip some otherwise the list will be to long .. the 250 GT Tour de France, LWB and SWB Berlinettas, the Califorina Spyders, the 250 Testarossas, the '62 and '64 GTO's .... the Daytona Competition .... okay their are also a couple of ugly onces, but only a couple .. and this is why Ferraris are so fascinating to many ... there are more buyers then historic Ferraris available ... this is one reason why this well organized auction was such a mega success.
