The headlining Modern Speed Collection consisted of 11 of the most exclusive, powerful and technologically
advanced vehicles on the planet. Of these rare and gorgeous machines, eight of them sold for a total of
$6,270,000 in hammer sales. Three from the collection brought individual sales of $1 million or higher
including a 2014 McLaren P1, a 2011 Ferrari 599 SA Aperta and a 2006 Bugatti Veyron 16.4.
Several other individual sales topped even those of the Modern Speed group with a 211-mile 2014 Ferrari
LaFerrari packing 949 horses gaveling for an estimate-exceeding $4,700,000. The much-heralded 1966 Ford
GT40 MkI also pulled in a multimillion-dollar sale price with a high bid of $4,400,000. The auction’s
third-highest seller was a one-owner, 2,000-mile 2003 Ferrari Enzo that brought $3 million.
