£322,000, pipped by a rival contemporary 1927 Bugatti Type 35B Grand Prix Two-Seater which achieved

1961 AC Ace 2.6-litre Roadster, sold for £287,500. A rare left-hand drive variant and the sixth of 36
production models built, this example had been owned by its vendor for 50 years. |
