3-5 June, 2022

After the huge success of the 2021 edition, the Stella Alpina is once again taking to the spectacular roads in Trentino for a unique and inimitable experience behind the wheel. The event is organised jointly by Scuderia Trentina and Canossa, and will take place from June 3 to 5, 2022.
The programme for the 2022 edition has been updated with a route taking the crews across some of the most exciting mountain passes in the Alps. Unspoilt scenery, breath-taking panoramas, challenging hairpin bends, timed trials and average speed trials are all ingredients holding the promise of a truly memorable adventure.

The driving experience
After completing accreditation and scrutineering at G. Caproni Airport in Trento on Friday June 3, the first leg of the rally will head off in the direction of Mezzocorona. The route takes the fascinating Strada del Vino (Wine Road) and then continues to Egna. After a short stop at Aldino, the crews will drive to Monte San Pietro and Passo Lavazè. The destination of the first leg is the enchanting town of Cavalese with local folk music and dancers below the Lagorai mountain range.

On Saturday June 4, the Stella Alpina will set off from Piaz de Ramon in the centre of Moena, ready to experience a route winding through the spectacular alpine scenery of the Dolomites, with the crews competing in trials where the measurements are in terms of hundredths of a second on roads of pure beauty. After crossing Passo San Pellegrino, they will head down to Falcade and Alleghe. Next comes the challenge of crossing the marvellous mountain passes of Giau, Falzarego and Valparola before arriving at Armentarola, a small haven in the heart of Val Badia. After stopping for a reinvigorating lunch, the crews will get back in their cars and drive up to Passo Gardena, down into Ortisei and then Passo Pinei. There will be time for a short stop at Siusi before heading off in the direction of Bolzano, Passo Tires and Passo Costalunga.

Sunday June 5 will be the last day of driving with the crews setting off from the centre of Moena heading off towards Val di Fiemme, through the towns of Predazzo, Cavalese, crossing Passo Manghen and down into Borgo Valsugana. A short stop is scheduled at Levico before the route takes the direction of Passo Compet, Pergine Valsugana, Lake Caldonazzo and Passo Vigolo Vattaro. The third leg’s destination is an exclusive location in Trento, where the crews will enjoy their last lunch and the highly-awaited awards ceremony.

The Tribute to the Prancing Horse
Following tradition, a Ranking reserved for the modern Ferraris will once again be drawn up in 2022 in homage to the Prancing Horse. The competition for the modern cars will follow the same itinerary and incorporate the same trials as for the classic cars.

Registrations
Registrations are open and include special rates for teams entering at least 4 crews. There will be a reduced fee for crews registering for the Stella Alpina in addition to the other driving experiences designed by Canossa, such as the Terre di Canossa (April 21-24) or the Modena Cento Ore (October 2-7). Furthermore, any enthusiasts who are registered for the 1000 Miglia and want to take part in the Stella Alpina as a training exercise will also be entitled to a special fee.
