This Ferrari 250 GT began life as one of just 353 Pinin Farina Coupes built from 1958 to 1960 and has been re-bodied in the style of a LWB California Spider. Chassis 1809 was brought to the US after it was acquired from UK Ferrari collector Stephen Pilkington in 2015 as a partially completed Spider conversion project. The remainder of the all-aluminum bodywork was installed by Ferrari specialists Norwood Autocraft in Texas, where the build was completed in 2019. Power is provided by a 3.0-liter Colombo V12 that is equipped with triple 36mm Weber carburetors and was rebuilt by marque specialists in the Netherlands. The interior has been refreshed with new black leather upholstery, and additional features include a four-speed manual transmission, concealed electronic ignition, telescopic rear shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, and 16″ Borrani wire wheels. Finished in Rosso Chiaro, the car is offered on behalf of the current owner in Texas with New York registration that describes it as a 1959 Ferrari Convertible.
The interior was re-trimmed after completion of the re-bodying process, including new black leather on the seats, door panels, transmission tunnel, and console. Matching carpets line the footwells, and additional equipment includes a Ferrari polished shift knob, dash-mounted rearview mirror, console ashtray, and wood-rimmed steering wheel with a Ferrari horn button.

Ferrari Veglia instrumentation includes a 300-km/h speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, as well as gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, fuel level, and amperage. Approximately 25 kilometers (16 miles) have been added since the build was completed.
The 2,953cc Tipo 128F Colombo V12 was reportedly rebuilt by Roelofs Engineering in Rehden, Netherlands and features single overhead camshafts, twin distributors, and triple 36mm Weber carburetors. Electronic ignition was also added for improved cold starts and smoother engine operation, and is concealed to retain a period-correct look. An alternator is utilized in place of a factory generator. Characteristics introduced on engines used in later examples of the 250 GT models include spark plugs mounted on the outside of each cylinder bank, as well as individual intake ports.
