1956 - after the (unsuccessful) works career of the four 555 Super Squalos was over, the English privateers Peter Whitehead and Reg Parnell bought two of them (555/1 & 555/2) in autumn 1956. 3.5-litre Tipo 860 Monza engines were installed for Formula Libre racing in Australia and New Zealand. Therefore the chassis was stretched 3 inches and renumbered to FL/9001 and FL/9002.

1963/feb - wreck put in and stored at a used car lot (Johns yard) in Otahuhu, Auckland, NZ where it first lost its steering wheel, gauges and later lost also its 860 Monza-engine to be used in a speedboat

196. - remains rescued by Len Southward, NZ

196. - Garth Souness, Greenlane, NZ
1964 - Chevrolet V8-engine installed and in this configuration the chassis was clothed in a Morris Minor body, the car then called “Morrari”; a Morris Minor had an 86" wheelbase and the Super Squalo Ferrari an 85.1" wheelbase, so no need for a chassis shorten, in fact IIRC the reason the Minor body was chosen was because it was a near perfect match for the Ferrari chassis
196. - original 860 Monza-engine sold to Len Southward, NZ for display in his museum
1964-65 - The Morrari was raced by Garth Souness in the Allcomers Series for two seasons, 1964/65, and 1965/66. The first season it had Borrani wire wheels, and the second it had the steel wheels and radiused wheel arches and hood exiting pipes. It didn't seem to travel much, mainly just raced at Pukekohe and ventured to Matamata in its first season. It was registered “EW 4078”
1965/nov - offered for sale by Garth Souness
196. - Haydn Bennett, NZ
196. -  Garth Souness got the car back and sold the chassis back to Gavin Bain with the Borrani wires back on it
