As part of their 40th anniversary celebrations Ferrari U.K. (Maranello
Concessionaires Ltd) held an exhibition of motoring art at the Air Gallery in
London, organised by Grand Prix Sportique.

The exhibition features works in a variety of styles, by a wide range of
international artists. These included Dexter Brown (GB), Alan Fearnley (GB),
Juan Carlos Ferrigno (E), Jorge Garcia (ARG), Heinz Krebs (D), Andreas
Mindt (D), William Motta (USA), Bill Neale (USA) and Craig Warwick (GB),
the latter being commissioned to produce a work featuring all the cars raced
by the Maranello Concessionaires team.
Gente
A preview evening with a cocktail party was held on Monday 20 November,
attended by many of the drivers who raced for the team, together with Jody
Scheckter who unveiled the commissioned painting during the evening.
Ferrari Chairman and President , Luca di Montezemolo, together with Andrea
Zappia, the Commercial & Marketing Director, presented a specially
produced anniversary piece from Ferrari, a 1960 piston and valves alongside
a 2000 piston and valves, mounted on a Schedoni leather base. The guest
list read like a motor racing who’s who. Among those in attendance were
Richard Attwood, Derek Bell, Ross Brawn, Tony Brooks, Bette Hill (wife of
the late Graham Hill), David Piper, Mike Salmon, Jack Sears, Jacques
Swaters and Rob Walker. It was also nice to see that the company roots
had not been forgotten, as Anne Hoare, the wife of the company founder, the
late Colonel Ronnie Hoare, and her son were the guests of honour.
