An impressive inventory! Brooks sold a Dino 246 GT in their Gstaad sale last December. The metallic blue car was claimed to be s/n 05032. When inspecting the car, noticed that the entire section on the frame in the engine bay (driver's side) where the s/n is stamped into the chassis had been removed. Instead the s/n could be found on the opposite end of the engine bay, on the passenger's side. The number read "0005032" and the stamping did not have anything to do with the letters which were used by the Factory to stamp the cars... This car came from Italy. When I entered the results of the sale in my database, I noticed that I had #05032 listed as "red, owned by Baroness Charlott von Wolff-Ickenstein of Koblenz/Germany in mid-1980's, for sale in May 1987". Well, that was more than ten years ago and I did not find this suspicious.Well, now this red #05032 has appeared near Braunschweig. It's still in Germany, now owned by Maurizio Mazzone of Lehre-Wendhausen/Germany, registered HE-GT 246...I wonder which was the actual car which was sold through Brooks
