Paris, January 23, 2009
With revenues of € 93.7 million, Artcurial | Briest - Poulain - F. Tajan beats
a sluggish economy and confirms its position among the three big players
in the French art market. The vehicle department represents close to a
10% share of the auction house.
The next sale of collectors’ cars organized by Artcurial | Briest - Poulain - F.
Tajan will take place February 8, 2009 at the Palais des Congrès
convention center during Rétromobile, the show in which the auction
house has participated since its 1976 inception.
A “can’t miss” meetingplace for collectors from around the world for more
of 30 years, the 2009 event will be without precedent due to the exceptional
cars, as well as motorcycles, that will be presented at auction.
Once again this year Hervé Poulain and his team won’t depart from their
high standards, presenting cars chosen for their style, their source, their
elegance or their unique history.
