If the Mille Miglia is already red-marked in your calendar this new event will surely get you in the proper
mood for it. One short look on the entry list confirms my opinion that the Modena Cento Ore Classic will
keep the promise to be a real highlight in the year 2000 !
From Modena to Imola, Misano, Varano and Fiorano
All begins on Sunday, May 21st 2000 with a sensational demonstration parade through Modena
presenting the teams which take part. The competition will go on for 4 days, during the 3 days far away
from Modena, a total of km 1.000 will be covered. Each day two special road stages will be run and one
track race (Imola, Misano, Varano). Two special times stages will be held also: one in Modena and one
in Fiorano on the Ferrari track.
Restricted to 80 selected classic & competition cars up to 1975 the grid includes such great cars like
the unrenounceable Ferrari Tour de France, an Alfa Tipo 33, Lancia Stratos and a rare De Tomaso
Pantera Group 4, showing a portfolio through 50 years of GT and Sports car racing.
Five men addicted to vintage cars made your dreams come true
The Modena Cento Ore Classic was established by five men - all addicted to vintage cars. The idea was
to create a competition for historic automobiles that would offer a complete and rich program which
combines sporting and technical aspects on the one hand and cultural events on the other.
Thanks to the enthusiasm of these passionated vintage car lovers: Mauro Bompani, Rino Righi, Carlo
Rinaldi, Alberto Barbieri and Renzo Raimondi.
